This Fair Haven project brought together a living room and a family gathering space, each redesigned with its own job to do. The living room, the first thing you see walking in, stayed true to the family's love of a calming coastal palette, all whites and blues that let the natural light take over. The gathering room was the bigger challenge: this is a busy family who wanted a space that could actually hold everyone, functional enough for everyday life but beautiful enough to host. A reimagined floor plan and quietly bold sofas made that happen. Our client had always gravitated toward neutrals, calling herself "allergic to color", so the soft sage hues brought in were a step outside her comfort zone. She and her family trusted us to go there, and they were glad they did. The room still feels like them, just bolder, and it's finally a place everyone wants to stay in.
